Started with a desktop, graduated to a cooler, and have joined the ranks of the aristocrat! Loose sticks, which I do not have too many of are in a singles drawer. The unit is a refrigerated type which is both beautiful and effective.

65 deg and 65 humidity in a walk in humidor that’s roughly 640 cubic feet.  I have a Spanish cedar shelf for singles as well as clear tubes (got in on a group buy on another cigar bbs for these). but all other cigars are in original dbs, cabs, humidors or houses. The loose singles do tend to flatten out smell wise first followed by unsealed dbs, and finally cabs and jars last.  There are cigars I bought a lot of that I then store in vac seal bags to preserve aroma in a micro environment while still continuing to age.  It is hard to explain the smell opening those bags for inspection after 13 years and the sticks still smell like freshies but don’t smoke that way at all.

Good thread....

Started with the tall Liebherr wine fridge and the conditions for so many boxes was perfect. 68/65 or so. I humidify my fridge with a sophisticated plastic cup of tap water, as opposed to an apple in my grandfather’s humidor box.

Over three years I have added three much less expensive short bar fridges, lining up the back wall of my studio where I paint and work on my computer.

Great coffee, cigars and whiskey. Love them all.
