Lots of Tupperdor type containers of various sizes. Some with Bovedas and some with kitty litter sprayed with distilled water. All this is kept in a small room that is temp controlled by electric baseboard heaters and a/c.

Never had that issue through small end table humidors or my aristocrat, for "really really good sticks" i had a couple desktop humidors with cigar beads.
Oh and a 10lb bag of kitty litter, but that's for the cat to shit and piss in.

Question on how you store your cigars...
Converted wineador. I have mostly boxes and three trays for loose sticks. Still smell amazing.

Re: Question on how you store your cigars...
I think singles should either go into an empty box or a desktop humidor. I keep several desktops on top of my vinotemp humidor. I try to rotate the singles from time to time, and generally keep the ones I want to age on the bottom. Once I figure out how to post pics I'll show my set up.

Wineador with the chaseden drawers that have glass tops. Maybe it’s the glass tops and no slats in the bottoms, but I have not noticed any drop in aroma nor taste. I’ve been very happy with my storage method. Mine is in my basement so it’s unplugged as the temp stays pretty constant and under 70.

Check ;D
And you can use the original boxes to store other things once empty.

Was in the Macanudo club last month in NYC. Big table next to us guy holding court. Noticed the box they had it on a empty table next to us. Picked it up - chevrons, date code (funky blue) ink only on the Hecho in Cuba... and well the cigar vitola itself. Guy stands up and starts chatting about how he can get Behikes I tell him we are good but give him a couple Punch Punch from 85 and ask if I can have the box. He comes up later and gives me the box with a couple loose random ... well they are in the pic.
The point of all this is that unless you are investing serious $$ or looking to buy and age large quantities of cigars most methods described will work fine. Cooler with beads in the basement is the cheapest solution. It's much more important to make sure you are buying legit cigars than relative differences in storage. Caveat - if you have an environment that gets above 70 degrees where your cigars are going to be, its important to freeze them first. (Beetles) Not as big a concern on LCDH purchases as in the past but like sleeping with strange when you buy from others here and elsewhere - wear the glove... err freeze em first.
Wait what was the question again?
Might smoke the fahike just to see.

Re: Question on how you store your cigars...
70 qt Coleman cooler for boxes (cabs and dress), customs in ziploc bags.
I also have a few desktops - one Gentili for NC that holds at 70 RH like a champ; the cigars seem to hold their scent forever (most come cellophaned, and I keep them that way).
The other 2 are for smoke-now CCs (mostly). I have noticed that the cigars' scents kind of all grow weaker, but they still smoke true to their style every time. Only difference to me seems to be the smell of them before they're lit. I've had fresher cigars laying on top of 20-yr old vintage and have never had a cigar take on the characteristics of its unrelated neighbors.
I've often thought of smoking directly from the cooler every time, just for that pre-light smell, but in the end, I'd rather keep the cooler as undisturbed as possible - rather open it once per month than 5 times a week. I grab a few of these and those when I open it up. Maybe a couple special singles and smile at the boxes with a blue sticker - those are for long-term aging.
Everything is humidified by beads. There's a couple Bovedas thrown here and there - they're years and years old and don't seem to need recharging.

Re: Question on how you store your cigars...
I have a walk in humidor and I noticed the same thing with my loose singles and even when I left boxes open for display purposes. All my boxes stay closed now and I noticed they gained their aroma back. I only leave loose sticks out when I know im gonna smoke them within the next couple months. Being that your working with a wineador, I would put your singles in ziploc bags since they take up less room than plastic containers
Help me fill my walk-in humidor!
