sealed box vs opened box

Yes that makes 100% sense. Especially with the price of some of these boxes.

When I'm at a LCDH in Havana I always inspect the boxes to look for consistencies in the cigar and preferably darker/oily wrappers. I have opened plenty of boxes to find they weren't too pleasing to the eye. The only box I make an exception is Partagas dress boxes as the shop will not have all of the seals to close it back up. They do have the seals to close most others though. John

Prefer my CCs open and inspected, but like most domestics sealed.

Very interesting discussion. Normally I inspect all boxes coming in since I don't want any surprises down the road.
