Tats are great, but I don't think they'll ever trump Opus

If I had to choose between a Opus X or Tatuaje I would take the Tatuaje no dout. But with that being said If I had to choose from a Forbidden X or Tatuaje I would take the Forbidden X . I have alot of respect for Pete Johnson with his marketing skills and also just how young he is. I can see Pete being one of the most known cigars with in 10 years. I hope it is sooner because he deserves it.

I think it is safe to say that Pete has arrived in the world of cigars. They are both fantastic smokes, Tatuaje and Opus X. I like them both, more or less at different times. I think it is safe to say when your cigars are being compared to Opus X in terms of popularity, you are doing something right.
Bury me in a spanish cedar casket.

I don't believe that Tatuaje's will ever replace Opus X as far as rare and limited availability goes. I used to smoke Opus X all the time. I still have some B&M's that change my card and send me full boxes from time to time but I no longer seek out Opus X. I enjoy Cubans and Tats too much.

Even though Opus X cigars haven't been as consistent as they used to be, I still prefer them (well, certain vitolas) over Tats. I do like a few Tats (although I actually like his Cabaiguan Guapos and La Riqueza lines better), and, as has been previously mentioned, either cigar may be the "right" one depending on the circumstance.

After the demand I saw for the 9+ boxes I ran across this shipment, I would have to disagree.

I see the point but I guess Tats aren't quite there yet. This month I have been in two brick and mortars with the Opus behind the counter. You had to ask for them. All the Tats I've ever seen were on the shelves.

Both are great but I think I am more leaning towards the Tats. I just havent had a bad one excluding their AM and White line. With Tatuaje, i know what i'm getting.
