In a couple weeks heading to Miami, then driving down to Key West. Any good place along the way? Probably looking for more of a cigar shop to pick up a few, not really a lounge or bar. Or, should I bring my own?

I've done the drive several times from MIA to Key West which is absolutely stunning but no shops that I'm aware of when going south. Obviously in Miami I found tons of great smoke shops in Little Havana as well as the surrounding areas. Once in key west they are several great shops with their own blends that's worth trying. I would still recommend to bring your own sticks "just in case".

You might give cuban crafters a try before you leave Miami. Not only a cool place but they're very nice people in there. They also have a nice little lounge in the back which has excellent cuban sandwiches!
And if you're looking for some good cuban food stop by Versailles. Oh how I love theie key lime pie.
Have fun. I also havent seen anything worthwhile on the way to key west.

Thanks for the info guys, it sounds like I might need to pack my own. Now the big decision it, what to bring.

These places are peppered all over, cigars are ok, just ok.
There is another place I found on Duval St with a great selection.

People always miss this place because of the location..El Meson de Pepe has an authorized Fuente dealer in it's building. Best selection in the Keys and a relaxing place to have a smoke.
