Well... That de-escalated quickly

Actually it has.  I'm going to let this rest. It does look as if they only once shared the same IP so the story makes sense from that point, and BW did pull the humidor from his sale on his post on Monday the 12th before there was any turmoil.  (part of the why people can't go back and edit posts thing)

Unless I see something else to indicate that there is something wrong here I'm going to consider this resolved..

I did make a purchase from Smokestack79.  I did research, couple emails with Joe (Smokestack79) and paid in a more secure manner.  The next morning I received an actual picture of the DC receipt, which is very nice.  Item is tracking properly and expected delivery tomorrow.  I can also tell that other items shipped at the same time.

However, I missed the Padron "double post."  That is a bit worrisome.  While the details of your deal are not our business, it does look suspect.

I do appreciate both of you posting and offering an explanation.  When the cigars arrive tomorrow, and all checks out, I will have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Joe.  His communication was quick and consistent.  Shipped first thing the next morning after payment.  Not sure if you can ask for much more.

I just opened a package from Joe,and I am satisfied with my purchase.As advertised,intact,authentic,unopened.
As a newbie here it took me a while to adjust to the flow of things, and I can sympathise with Joe.I hope from here on things will calm down and we can all learn from this.

May I ask what you purchased?

Thank you Wade for your understanding about the situation and your trust in both Joe and I; as I mentioned previously, if anyone has any additional questions feel free to reach out to me by email ([email protected]) or PM. I'm at work today so I will not be able to check the boards that often.

Very well done, imo.  I know I had questions about this relationship (to the point of shooting Wade an email) and I'm glad it was resolved in a professional manner.

For whatever it is worth, I bought a box of regular production sticks from Joe (Smokestack) and they arrived today. All went smoothly with my transaction.

Good stuff! Glad it's all clear. This community is cautious for good reason, but this one turned out a-ok.

folks need to pump the brakes on the accolades here in my opinion.  now the sublimes have nearly doubled in price (and boxes are no longer available...convenient) I asked Joe for the origin and was simply given a blanket answer of "switzerland"...this still does not add up to me...who has that kind of collection where they can supposedly sell boxes of sublimes and cant give a through explanation as to where they were procured?
