What a joke, CC's in the Dominican Republic

This was my second time there, I remember the CC's being expensive, but not as bad as I just experienced.  Luckily, I hooked up with someone here before I left so I was stocked.

A Siglo II cost $38. I think the price of a Monte #2 was $55.

I was hoping to try out the LFD Factory Press.  When I asked the salesperson he looked at me cross eyed. So I just picked up some Dominican stick and a $40 box of Cohiba Club.  lol  Was tempted to wrap 5 of the little sticks together for one decent sized smoke.

I was approached by a guy (drunk off his ass) by the pool who saw me smoking and said he "Got a great deal on the beach".  ;D  I tried to tell him they were all fakes and to at least cut one open to make sure it was all tobacco.  He was adamant they were the "real deal" and liked the way they tasted.  Out of sympathy, I gave him one of the little Cohibas.

  When I was in Jamaica I seen a guy pay $20 bucks a stick for so called CC. The sticks came unbanded and looked like crap some people have no clue you just have laugh there is no help for them
