BHK Madness

Post by tksamtec »

These were just sold for 180-250 per box shipped at a very popular vendor... and I see the flippers are out in force already... 2 sticks for 75 shipped, 3 for 150 etc, boxes for 300+.  Gimme a break...

Just like we don't feed the trolls, don't feed these BHK gougers either.  :cop:

I didn't get mine for those prices at the Popular Euro vendor.  I definitely paid on average 300 plus for 52, 330-375 for 54s, and over 400 for 56 though I did snag a box for 375.  They came from an LCDH.  I wouldn't be so quick to make assumptions.  Cheers, Ryan

Maybe a poor assumption on my part about your sale, Ryan, BUT my boxcodes are the same as the ones you have for sale.  I was really just making a general statement regarding BHK ads.  I am sure that there are some people selling from LCDH boxes, but not many, at least not right now.  I don't see BHKs being sold here very often, and with the recent influx of new BHK sale ads, its likely safe to say that most of those boxes are from the vendor that has been blowing them out.

It seems like alot of JUN12 and JUL12 boxes coming from that stockpile.

I have a question for you on the boxes you bought. Do they have complete bar code stamp on them? I figure if they don't or the code has been cut off that is a way to tell them from the more expensive LCDH boxes rather then just by production date.

This time around no, so thats a good way to tell on the BHK boxes... I have gotten occasional things in the past from this vendor with barcodes intact though.

I am seeing 50/50 from this Puro European vendor.  Some people are getting barcodes intact, some are not.

If you are stating you have boxes from a LCDH, you got to be able to prove it somehow.  Barcode intact doesn't prove who sold it, just helps prove it is legitimate (which does add value IMHO).  You would need specific stickers depending on the region of the LCDH, etc etc etc, and show pictures of the box.

Unless someone has a mold problem, which was seen in one box from the discount vendor, the cigars should be the same. The vendor is an authorized dealer.

I am glad to see recent production prices coming down to earth.

For those unwilling to source these themselves, the inflated prices here at OLH for recent production are not a great value, imho.

'10 boxes are a different story altogether...

recent production BHK's are not even that good of a stick. Not nearly worth the $30+ for a 52 that they have been going for. there's a reason the prices have been free falling and they are not moving off of vendors shelves.
