Niagra Falls New York

Post by jazman3030 »

I'm heading to Niagra Falls, New York in a couple of weeks and would love some help. Duty free allows 50 cigars after 48 hrs in the US so I need a good spot to buy some. I know Niagra Falls Ontario has lots but the prices in Canada are crazy so whenever i get across the border I like to pick up some sticks.
Does anyone know of a good B&M close to there?

There is a spot less then 10 mins from Niagara Falls USA located on a nearby Indian Reservation.

Really good prices (low if any taxes) and pretty decent selection.

Smokin Joes Trading Post
2293 Saunders Settlement Road
Sanborn, NY 14132

Enjoy and don't buy all the padron fam reserves or 1926s.

Joe's is the only place you will get any kind of ''deal''. The place is just a shell of what it used to be though, it used to be a regular stop on my way to work but the people that run it now are clueless.

I'd stop in and see, lot's of Fuente, MF, Padron, LFD's.

Looks like Smokin' Joes will be one stop.
Any other places you recommend that we visit? Stores, restaurants, etc?
Our main stops are the casino, and the outlet stores on Milatary rd.

I was born and raised in NF NY and still frequent several times a year...IMO not much of a selection besides Smokin Joes, although I think it very good for NCs.

You can also try the Tinderbox on Transit Rd in Williamsville, NY.  It's a nice store and they have a nice selection of cigars and other tabacco related products.  Maybe 20 mins or so away.

There is another B&M right across the street from the Tinderbox, Bellazio smoke shop I think. He has Opus, Anejo and other ridiculously
marked up stuff. Virgil Ave Tobacconist on Hertel has a Rocky Patel lounge, but again prices are over the top with NY's 75% excise tax.
Joe's will be you best bet for cigars.

NY - A nice place to visit, but not to buy cigars.  Our taxes will kill you.
