I just don't understand how they sell out so fast on every release but then once you try getting rid of them it's dang near impossible to get your money back!
My guess is that by that time folks start realizing that it was a mistake buying them the first time around.
I must admit though I do like the OR satori Karma. Also the DDs are good for the price. But besides those it's hard to justify the pricing on them.

They built a decent reputation their first year, and have the same kind of hype that Tat has... I honestly haven't had anything great from them since early 2011. Their 2012 releases sucked, especially the S&B lines, and the white lable projects. The Friends and Family was the biggest joke of the year for me--lets take roughly hte smae amount of tobacco in a robusto... stretch it to 7.5" long, box press it, and sell it for $18.50 with tons of hype. BAH. I could of tied mine in a knot after a few puffs it was so loosely packed. Between that, and lack of quality in other releases that I have enjoyed in the past, I am DONE with them. I just laughed when I saw the Candy Cane this year too... gee where did that barber pole wrapper idea come from ??
The latest WLP got a 67 at halfwheel... and I expect much of the same in the future, especially at Andre's inflated pricing. $10 bucks for a stick that is so poorly constructed and lacking flavor... you can find better and more consistent smokes for $4.
For now, I will stick with Illusione, Fuente, Room101, and Liga Privada for my NCs... for the price, I always get one of the best constructed smokes available with LP, and I do enjoy several of their lines, including the Undercrowns which can easily be found for $5.

I wonder if these ghurkas are any good? Youd think with that kinda price tag theyd have to be really. Ive only ever had one ghurka...bought it at a texas de brazil in orlando because the glass tube had the texas de brazil logo on it and i love that place. It wasnt a bad cigar...but nothing id buy a box of. Ghurka has some really expensive ass cigars though....id love to try one. But im afraid it would have to be free!
As for viaje....i just couldnt wait to try my first one a few weeks ago....what a letdown. Complete piece of shit cigar. That ghurka i had...was a viaje slayer. Just didnt do a damn thing for me. I liked the 2 illusiones i got with them though.

Re: OMG, I needed a good laugh.......
A guy at work loves them...and I have given him several CCs over time, so his repayment was some of the pricier Gurkhas in return... maybe not as pricey as these, but in the $8-12 range. Anyways, since I have always made it a habit to smoke all gifted cigars, I ended up smoking these...
Well, all 5 were well rolledm but thats about the only credit I will give them. All of them were 1 dimensional and had flavors I didn't think were all that great. The tubed one that was most expensive and the guy who gave them to me made a big deal out of...it was some Fuente Anejo Cognac cured knockoff, and honestly it tasted like a sweaty gym sock smells... that one did the entire brand in for me.

Yeah...the one i had i finished but it wasnt anything great. I remember that much. It wasnt bad either or i would never have finished it. I think they make some cigar called his majesty or something. Supposed to be the worlds most expensive cigar iirc. Id never buy one but id sure like to try one. Once again...would have to be free!

A couple years ago in 2006 they had a special edition the Gurhka Black Dragon which was $1,150 a stick.
