Maybe they are starting to go downhill?  Unlike CCs, Liga stuff does have a shelf life...

I read a review saying the OR Liga Privadas were starting to decline. 5+ years is too much according to the writer.

Seems a whole rash of them showed up at once.  Maybe they can sell their HTF/EL/High End crap amongst themselves.  Way to contribute to the board fellas...NOT!!

Some are better than others. Don't jump the gun and throw all the noobs (myself included) in the same pot.

As for fishingfor5, I have not traded with him, nor do I know him, but I know people who have and he seems like a good person.

Nope, I know this BOTL from another board and emailed him that I thought he was being greedy and that he's going to get beat-up in the forum, and he pulled them within an hour after posting.  Apparently he overpaid for them as well, then had second thoughts and was just trying to get his money back, but agreed that it was better to eat the loss than to pass on such a bad deal to the members here and risk ruining his reputation.

Good for him! I think everyone over pays once.....or twice or.....

Hope he realizes your a real friend for the heads up. Some noobs seem to take affront instead of taking advise for the right reasons.

I'm done overpaying for LPs.

Donno, I let go of most boxes of t52 and #9 flying pigs (I think back in May still sealed for cost), I've kept in touch with them over the months and they were enjoying the cigars. Although most now have switched to CCs. Muahahahawwww

You ain't exactly a noob now are you Shlomo, though you may be new here.  No I didn't mean that for noobs in general, just they ones that join one day, charge double or more for cigars they just bought, or starting putting up ISO for incredibly HTF stuff before even so much as an intro.

I actually believe the market dictates price however there is a limit for me personally (try real hard to keep it to myself) to what's acceptable.

I offered help to a CC noob here last week, he has been a member here for some time, but just doesn't post much and is new to CCs... he contacted me directly after noticing that I was fairly active that day, and asked me nicely if I minded recommending him a good deal on a box of CCs when it showed up FS here.  Well, everyone knows that's a tough thing to do here... if the price is good, its gone quickly.  So, I offered him a 10 stick tasting sampler for 100 bucks.  Some good stuff, like Boli RCs, RASS, PSD4, ERDM CS, etc... some have a couple years on them, a couple have 5 or so.  Anyways, he sent me 130 for the sampler, telling me that he did some research and knew that I wasn't making more than a couple bucks on the deal.  So, he is getting some hitchhikers now too.  It would be nice if more of the noobs here were like this, and did some homework, and were more respectful of others.  All I typically see from noobs here is guys who don't even take the time to introduce themself, while tying to score impossible to find sticks in an ISO post or other noobs solely here to try to make a quick buck on the latest Tatuaje Koolaid.

I will gladly leave. I don't know where you gentlemen buy you're cigars but I shop in chicago where sharks are 18.95 and lost city's are 30 plus tax...and that is a 36 % tobacco tax in illinois. I have my receipts, I am not even breaking even. And to call me scum....

You were really quick to jump the gun on this one. I know a few of you guys here are members of cats on facebook and are well aware of my giving and generosity! Cost(if you can find it) on the anejo sharks is 15 and lost citys are 30 so what would I be making if I were actually profiting? 5 bucks!? give me a break I could actually do it 60 plus times I just thought a few guys might want a few year old fuentes. Oh well, I took my stuff down.

I think a lot of the comments here are general in nature and not intended toward any one individual.  Of course, all are free to take their toys and hit the house anytime they feel like it.  Though, my opinion would be to stick around and experience all little more of OLH before running home.
