Buffalo, NY area

Alternative Brews
3488 Sheridan Drive
Amherst, NY 14226-1545

Found it by accident, the place looks old and rundown, but it has a great beer selection and cigar friendly.  Check it out if you are in town.  It's about half a mile north of Duff's which seems to be the other famous wing joint in Buffalo.

Colonie Lounge
1795 Hertel Ave.
Buffalo, New York 14216

This place looks like an old neighborhood bar that became a strip club a few decades ago.  They have a few good beers on tap and domestic bottles were $3 last time I went in.  The dancers were bad. I sat with my back to the stage, but the bartender was a hottie, she'd have been a treat on the pole.  Anyway.  It's a bar, it's indoors and you can smoke a cigar.

FYI-I live about a mile from Alternative Brews.  If you are in town we could get together for a smoke.

Really,

I will be in bufallo sunday through tuesday night. The company I work for is based there. I get out there about 4 to 5x a year. I am down Sunday night for a stick after I get in. I will be staying at the Staybridge on Transit Road.

Cheers
Trevor
Why pay $100 on a therapy session when you can spend $25 on a cigar? Whatever it is will come back; so what, smoke another one.

i live right down the street from the colonie and your not kidding about the dancers being BAD. but for being a strip club their drink prices are not bad at all and you can smoke so its not a bad place.

If I don't like the show I don't feel obligated to tip so the dancers don't bother me, they are just background.  Cigars indoors anywhere these days is a treat, so much the better if they serve drinks.

Alt brews is kick ass..Ridiculous number of beers on tap/bottles, and  live music on Fridays too!

Colonie wasnt terrible.. Listen a place where you can smoke for free and drink well for cheap.. thats awesome.  Even with the strippers being "C" string... its usually fun looking at actual tits while drinking and smoking... and some of the girls, depending on the day, arent too bad.  ;D

I lived in BLO for four years.. I miss it over there. :'(

Next time anyone wants to get together at AB let me know. I get in there once and a while when I can.
