Glad this worked out for you, you're right, this is the best that could have possibly happened in that situation!  And regarding the horn, I just recently replaced my bike's horn (very lame Japanese sounding buzz) with an aftermarket car horn, now my bike sounds like an early 80's Cadillac!  You'd better believe people wake up and get out of my lane when they hear that!
