La Escepcion - $700/box!?

 Sorry, can't keep quiet any longer.  These sell for 13 euros here in Italy (where I'm currently living) or roughly $425/box.  If you are willing to pay $700/box you're a mark, plain and simple.

(Clarification: mark = sucker, in certain circles.)

Weather or not you feel that $700 is an outrageous price or not it is a completely stupid initial post. Outside of Italy about the cheapest you could see these for is $550 and typical sources run $600 +

If I am wrong please procure 10 boxes for me at the $450 price

While I am usually the first to make fun of the prices that flippers are getting for their merchandise, that price is about the norm. It was evidently a fairly small run, and a particularly sought after blend due to it's percieved "ageability". I'd bet that many boxes could be sold at that price.  JMO tho :)

  Yes, the online price in the U.S. is apparently 60 pct higher than market rate in the EU.  Doesn't necessarily make it a good deal, mon frere.

Not to mention that the restrictions on Italian exports severely limit the supply outside Italy. If I understand things correctly you cannot even ship tobacco intra-county. Please let me know if I have that wrong. 

The only reason so many of these boxes are even available is that there was a group buy on another forum.

I also would stand in line to buy at $450 a box, I'd be a seller around $800 and I'll stand pat in-between.
