Hey , I’m alive. Thank you all for all the positive thoughts, and thank you to Fred and Dallas for updating everyone.  I’m not going to add much since I learned what happened from the 20th to the 24th here and in conversation with Beverle. I never realized how far in the woods I went till this week after I got moved out of ICU.
Here is a bit of the story /timeline

As some people have figured out from what was posted I had a cardiac arrest brought on by a V fib event in association with W-P W.  (Simplest explanation I can write)  I don’t suffer from any chronic coronary illness, in fact I expect to be back on my bike as soon as my leg heals (that’s another part of the story)
I’ve been diagnosed with W-P-W since the late 80s. In the 80s and later in the 90s I had some diagnostic work done and was told that ablation technology was not up to fixing me.  I just let it slide to long.  I should have gone in for another look 5 or 10 yrs ago but it wasn’t bothering me so eeeh!?
My second son was born on 5-17, three days later on 5-20 I collapsed in the kitchen floor.  My MIL and my wife did CPR till the EMTs got there.  In the process of falling I caused a spiral fracture of my tibia just above the ankle and my fibula shattered just below my knee.
I had a lot of work done in the hospital, I was not truly conscious from Sun to 20th till Thursday the 24th and even until Friday or Sat there is some haze.  My sternum is fractured from the CPR, (breathing is uncomfortable, coughing feels like I’ve been stabbed in the chest.  My leg is broken in 2 places with a titanium rod and 4 screws holding it together, and just in case I’ve got a defibulator installed in my chest
I’ve been on percs since I came home. I’m trying to cut down my usage but at night the pain breakthrough keeps me from sleeping.

Glad you're alive brother, and glad to hear it sounds like you're on the road to recovery.

I had WPW when I was a child, however I had the ablation procedure done when I was 8 years old. I do remember how terrible it was though. Guess it's a good thing my parents opted to get it taken care of.

Thoughts and prayers are still with you and your family. Take it easy and get better

Thanks for giving us the details, Wade. You made it through the storm. Take it easy, and remember what Warren Zevon said, "Enjoy every sandwich."  ;)
