What size humi do you have now? I am building a prototype climate controlled cab that Don Salvatore to going to produce for me. We are a long way off though.

I have 3 small table top humi's: a 50ct a 150ct and a 170ct. need a 150 box count at least. :)

Well to give you an idea. I got my 150 quart started. About Five Six months ago..I now have it three quarters of the way full. Bottom has all my singles in four cedar trays. Middle shelf has assorted boxes. Top is full of empties that remind me how many boxes of smokes I've went through already..
I will soon be taking out the emptys and putting in full boxes. the goal is to go over to the dark side for awhile. Scary cause it's a whole new world for me. I haven't gotten into these cigars as of yet..

WOW, It sounds like you need to sell what you have and get a small cabinet. I bet keeping 3 humi's is a lot of work.

not as bad as you would think. Only have trouble in July and August when the heat and humidity are very high. other than that smooth sailing. just need more room.

I like the wine cooler refrigerator conversions. Temperature control is always an issue for me and these solve that one quite nicely (Currently have 2, used to have 3)
Usually the only thing you have to change is the upper end limit on the thermostat to get them into the mid 60's. They tend to come with a highest setting in the mid to upper 50's, but changing it is just a matter of finding the right screw and figuring out which direction to turn it, after that it just requires a tad of patients to let the temperature stabilize and quit looking at the humidity every 5 minutes while it is empty :bait: . Fill and be comforted knowing that your smokes are kept cool enough that you will probably never have a beetle outbreak.
