Anyone know kmckinn3?

Post by Stephen »

Purchased some cigars from him over a month ago (April 12th).  After initial confirmation that payment was received, have only heard from him once with the following, "Anything yet? They should have got there by now."  Hasn't responded to multiple PMs or emails in weeks.  I understand that life sometimes gets in the way, but I think a month is more than enough time to get back to somebody who's made a purchase from you in good faith.

Unfortunately I have not.  That is why I took the advice of a trusted member here and made the incident a matter of public record.  I wished to avoid doing so but repeated unanswered communications left me little choice.

That's unfortunate, maybe someone knows him and can get a hold of him and get it straightened out.

Looks like by his post BOTL is his home board. I check and he doesn't have any trader feed back there but does have some folks on his friends list. He has logged on there this month, try to send him message there. I hope this works out.

It looks like BOTL is his home...maybe someone who is a member there can contact him for you.  He has not been on here since April 24.

A month is a little long to get your cigars and you are a very patient individual. Most good sellers here deliver within 4-5 days, and almost everyone ships/delivers within 2 weeks of the purchase/payment date.

If someone could do that for me it'd be much appreciated.  I really don't want to join a messageboard just to track someone down.

That's been my normal experience whenever I've purchased cigars from individuals in the past (granted, not on this site).  I realize that life happens and was giving this individual the benefit of the doubt, but it appears (at this time) that faith was misplaced.

Did he have any positive feedback that you sent your end first?

He had one that I could tell (granted it was from a year and a half ago).  With me having zero interaction on this board and my general optimistic view of my fellow man (especially a BOTL) I really didn't have any qualms about sending payment.  Mea culpa.
