RyJ CFs

Post by WadeFillingame »

Does anyone remember the very old (like 13yo) Celestos Finos that were running around in the late 90s?

If you do when were they actually from?  (I know subtract 13 from yr = answer) When I bought this place from Danny in 99 or 00 he gave me a 3 pack of them and I forgot I had them, and found them again the other day.  I seem to recall that he told me that they were like 13+2 or so when he gave them to me, but I'm not sure. I recall that there were had been a number of them on the market for a couple of months before they disappeared.

Anyone who was around back then remember when these were actually from and who they were coming from (Mitch maybe, he was one of the first reputable online guys)

Think I still have one left.  They were world class!
When I first joined CF in '97 I went to CA and joined the boys for a herf.  Gary handed me one when he first met me.  That was one great cigar!!!!!!!

If they are in cello then they are from the mid 70s.  If not then they are probably from 1998-a bunch of those went around years ago and I bought a few boxes which I ended up smoking over a five year period. Very nice cigars.

I smoked a bunch of 97/98s back in 2002-2005 (?).  They were very good and not expensive at all.  Got them mostly from Cyprus.

Both of mine were in cello.  Very kind of the person who gifted them to me.
