Going to show my ignorance of current cigars
I laid in about a 5 yr supply of cigars years ago, then ended up living in an apartment in MA where I don't smoke so that has been extended even further. Combine that with increases in prices and a devalued dollar and I've been buying about 2 boxes of cigars a yr for the last 3 yrs or so.
I completely missed the whole Habnos regional release thing. I did git a couple of boxes of the original ELs when the Partagas and Montes were first released, but other than that I never got into chasing. My inventory is down to about 2/3 of what it used to be, I've only got a couple of cabs of 98s left around so I'm starting to pay attention.
All of that said:
WTF is a God of Fire?
What size is the VSG Wizard? (I liked illusions and the Churchill size)

VSG Wizard is a Toro size (6" x 56 ring)
Here's some info about the God of Fire cigars. http://www.godoffire.com/main/aboutus.htm.
They are Fuente cigars. As tasty as they are, I think they are over priced.

Are the God of Fire a variation on Opus, are they like VSGs or are they just something else?

Re: Going to show my ignorance of current cigars
VSG's never blew me away, to one dimensional not all too complex. The only one I ever really enjoyed was a pre-release rorp that Carlito sent me way back with a warning to smoke after a meal-LOL
I liked the God of Fire's A LOT 2006/7 I think. The maddies a few months back did not blow me away and not worth the $$

I'm not so young or impressionable anymore, but still younger than most of you old hags-LOL
No, they are released in conjunction with Prometheus. They are a proprietary blend. Every year, the regular GoF line has 2 blends, the Carlos and the Carlito. The Carlos (for Carlos Fuente Sr.) is a Sumatra wrapper and the Carlito (for Carlos Jr.) is the Cameroon wrapper. I like the Carlos far better than the Carlito. The GoF Serie B is relatively new and the vitolas are slightly different in blend from each other, much like the original GoF line. They are supposedly decent but I haven't had one. As far as the VSG Illusione, I believe it's a tubo, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
