I don't believe a SVP would actually state the reason is "political." I am not saying it isn't true, but I can't imaging a SVP of Global Banking would state something like that.
I won't argue that banks will shy away from extending loans/credit to certain industries (adult related, smoke shops, liquor stores, pawn shops). These industries also have high default rates, quick business turnover (either straight out of business or change in ownership), and high burglary rates. But it has nothing to do with politics, but statistics.
BUT, to be associated with "firearms" doesn't make you a risk.

BOA is a scumbag organization and I've refused to do business with them for many years! None of this surprises me.

What I find Ironic is you show up for this bullshit Wade but continue to allow guys that are on the scumbag list to sell cigars on your site. You need to get your priorities straight. I'm sure I'll get banned for this but who the Hell cares.

Are you a BofA banking or credit card customer yourself? In any event, I think you are correct; I, for one, wouldn't care if you were banned. I do wonder, however, why people like you, who don't like the way Wade runs his website, bother to occasionally make use of it.

The idea that you think you'd get banned for posting that means you need to read some more of my posts. That said, don't take that as carte blanche to come in here and insult me or the way I run this place, it's not my patience is not unlimited.
You opinion is noted. Now go back and re-read (or read for the first time) rule 8. -> Link

7. [s]DO NOT POST NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLES POSTS! I'm not kidding, this portion of the site is not a discussion forum. If someone wants to post the unreleased "sooper-dooper-one of a kind rolled on Selma Hayek's thigh" that you gave him because he told you he loved you do not complain about it here. It destroys the flow of the board and makes people search through crap to find things that they want. Take it to the Battle ZoneI want to be crystal clear on this, posting negative comments on peoples threads in the TSBC will get you suspended. [/s]
[s]First offense is a week off, that is for those who didn't read the rules.
Second offense is permanent suspension from this site.[/s]
Rule 7 is no longer relevant. In the wake of the Triple Ligero mess I've changed the permissions in the TSBC so there there will be no comments to for sale threads except by the person who started the thread.
8. Due Diligence, it is your responsibility as a participant in an online trade to protect yourself as either the buyer or the seller. I make no representation as to the honesty or veracity of anything posted here by others. Before you part with your currency or items you should have done your own research to know that the other end of the trade is coming through.
The responsibility of regulating the community falls to the members here, even if site admin had the time to monitor the site 24/7 there is no way that it can know what is happening in private transactions. You have to police it yourself. I concede that to an extent the rules in the TSBC forum do protect sellers, and that is why many of them come here. On the other hand, this is a community and I provide the Battlezone forum for people to discuss the relative merits and flaws of anything and anyone. There is a forum for Traders Comments with a sticky thread at the top of the page for posting Bad Traders. This site provides the tools for discussion and documentation, but as a group the users of this site have to work to protect the community.
Do not believe for a minute that if someone is posting here they are automatically a good guy or that you can trust them. The only protection you have here is that from your own research and input from the community. I don't want anyone misled to believe that onlinehumidor endorses anyone posting in the TSBC.
Some of the folks over at Cigar Family maintain something they call a Scumbags List >Link<. I’d suggest that you look it over. Take the time to look for references, here or on other sites. Almost anyone selling something of high value here will probably have a profile and a reputation on one or more of the other forums out there. The point of all of this is to be cautious, there are scammers in the world, do what you can not to be a mark. Remember the old adage that if something looks too good to be real it probably isn't.

Better the enemy you know...
He would just reappear under a different name and possibly ensure more that way. let him post and let those buying be big boys and make their choice based on his past.
Also, if if those that got scammed would leave negative trader comments that would help more then banning him, IMO.
