Tat reds age better than browns, the blacks lose its richness within 2 years. Ask the guys I've sent the 06 angeles to try (ray, TJ, etc). It completely changes.
Franks did get flavorless, so did the Dracs, which were terrible to start, Face did get much better (sweeter!) but who wants to smoke that gigantic cannon, Wolfman will not age well. Personally, the broadleaf does not age well as the sweetness and richness just dissipate after 3yrs. I mean, they're all the OR triunfador blends with a different wrapper right? Ugh.
Now the LFD Factory Presses and Double Press...those get CRAZY good for NCs.

Taste is subjective and dependent on the person it's one of those things no one can be wrong if I love the Franks and I do then to me they taste great. I do wish I had the opportunity to try them during the ON period you guy's mention.

I agree wholeheartedly with all of those points...
The Illusiones age well too, based on my findings. I have not smoked many LFD's.

Smoking the real strong LFDs ages the person...
I can foresee a future series based on mythical beasts: Nessie, Bigfoot, Snowman, Yeti, Wendigo, etc.

I think that's pretty much the point and the irony. As those Tat's get older they are worthless and it makes me laugh at anyone who is paying the even HIGHER premium. I smoked a T110 2 years after the release, full nasal...it was weaksauce. To me that said everything I needed to know about aging potential of NC's and having anything besides CC's. That and I find regular production CC's easily blowing HTF/Limited NC's out of the water.

Well, I agree that SOME NCs don't age well, but I would not say that ALL NCs don't age well...I have smoked some amazing Ilusione, Graycliff (espresso lancero), VSG ORs Opus X, etc, some of which are well past 10 years old...
While the Frank has not aged well TO ME, I am sure that there people out there who love them NOW, as opposed to when they were first released (or never tried them when they were first released)...
Also saying that Tatuajes don't age well is a fallacy, as there are some that HAVE aged well...The Boris, Noella Reserva OR, Pork Tenderloin, WCD 120 OR, Eastie and Westie are all still amazing, IMHO...
As with anything tobacco related, it seems to depend on the blend...

I've had some 3 and 4 year aged Noella that were amazing! I'm sitting on last years Taa's for a few years and thinking they are going to blow me away at some point.

Great post
I love listening and learning from people with more experience and on this site that's most LOL But in the end I know what I like when I taste it. I agree with all of this as I have a lot of older nons since I obviously started with them and as you say some are way better today than five years or longer ago.
