Johnny-O Short Pyramid

Post by hdlr »

Review reposted from another board:

I think these are a new size, 6 7/8 x 47 ring. The size really appealed to me since I don't like bigger ring gauge cigars. I picked up 2 bundles and they are absolutely beautiful. Dark, oily wrappers with a nice shagfoot.

I decided to smoke one fresh and wow, this one's definitely a winner. I let one dry out a bit and fired it up. Construction and burn were dead on. The flavors were right up my alley; chocolatey leather is the best way I can describe it. I sat on the front porch and nubbed it, with no bitterness whatsoever even at the end.

Great cigar for the price. Needless to say I just ordered another bundle.  ;D

I cracked open a recent bundle of these, nice change of pace from the spicy, peppery, in your face nicotine strength I'm inclined to smoke. I'm gonna be sad when they reach their downtime period.

either the blend has changed or the flavors of the last several batches are different. new ones are similar to the CG. older ones were cookies and creme.

i don't know why he calls them short piramides. nothing short about that long bugger.

+1 Mine have begun to hit their "sick period".  LOVED them prior to that though.  Just might have to try one to see how they're developing. But I do have a fairly new batch of world-famous RE's I've been smoking daily though.
