How long?

I made a purchase and paid immediately.  The shipment was supposed to go out on that day, a Friday.  Didn't hear anything until Monday when I received another e-mail that he didn't make it to the post office on the "Monday" so it would go out on Tuesday for sure (Last Tue the 3rd).  That was my last e-mail and when I e-mailed asking to confirm that he had in fact shipped on Thursday I have yet to hear anything back.  I e-mail again today as it's now Monday and the BBMF is still not here yet.  I paid via Gift so of course if it doesn't come i'm just screwed but i'm curious how long I wait before making it official that the deal went south?

So far i've only had great luck here, hopefully this one doesn't go completely south.  As a long time Opus smoker i've waited to pull the trigger on a BBMF so I will be bummed if I got taken.  Still a great buy/sell forum though and this changes nothing.

Sometimes by identifying the individual, other forum members who may know the seller can provide some insight into what may be happening.  Seem forum members have some influence over their "buddies" and get them to do the right thing.

At this point, the lack of communication would probably cause me to bring this out as you've done.  Hope all works out in the end.

The seller username is Dread.  Hopefully he sent it and simply doesn't check his email.  But with that said, had I sold somethingi would be ensuring that I knew it was delivered to the buyer by checking emails.  He only had one reference from last year but I hoped it would go smooth.

Not sure they are one in the same or not, but a user with the name dread just posted a reply on puff, if he hasn't responded to you yet, might want to try over there, the dread on puff has close to 2000 posts, so if its not the same, sure he'd like to know what might be happening here.

If he in fact shipped it on Tue as last week like he said on Monday it should be here by tomorrow at the lastest, if not the above 80 degree weather will ensure I receive at stick of beef jerky Tobacco flavor.  :mail:

Looks like the same guy.  At this point i'm hoping he ran late shipping it out and it's on the way.  I've tried e-mailing his e-mail address directly but no response yet.  I would just rather know that things ran behind rather than wonder what happened.

Man...what a drag. I hate hearing of stuff like this. There's alway those people though. Hope it woks out for you.
