Gold Embossed 1998 Cohiba Lancero?
Maybe it's bad eyes,or a reflection, but a 1998 Cohiba Lancero doesnt have the gold embossed band. Sorry, hopefully a typo.

I would concur with your eyes. Looks like a 2003 or later band on that lancero.

I noticed some threads on the trade forum are removed, even if they are few days old. I am not talking about the monthly clean up by XTR. They are regular for sale threads that disappear after the sale is completed, or when the thread owner re-post the sale again.
Once, I tried to delete a thread, which I started, and I couldn't.
Do some people have special privilege to delete their own threads?

Nope. Posts can be edited in the first hour after that they are there until I do the monthly maintenance. I have not looked but I believe that the full editing capability exists for that hour, so someone could delete their thread by deleting their post because nobody else has posted on it.

I have known Geoff for years. If he says it is 1998 it is 1998. Must be the angle on the photo. He has some great stuff.

For what its worth...the original photo of the band appears to have 3 rows of dots...and the latest appears to have two rows...
