Camacho SLR - who's actually tried it?

Post by MaduroAccountant »

I'm wondering what people who have actually tried this cigar think about it.  I know there are a lot of those who don't like the lineup, and probably haven't even tried a lot of them, but would rather just write them off for whatever reason.  Who's actually smoked 'em, which one(s) did you smoke, and what were your thoughts?

tried the maduro roth about a year ago-wasn't so good that it stands out in my memory-i do remember that it was smooth, or maybe that was bland-didn't seem to be the med/full spicy that was advertised-my local shop does store on the damp side, so that may have something to do w/it-may just have to take one home, dry it out & try again-sorry not much help
there's nothing so bad in life that can't be made worse by a lousy cigar

"tygr" from CF sent me a couple SLR Maduro Roths that were 2 years old.  I was quite impressed with those...smooth and nice power to them.  Of course, that's with a couple years on them.  I tried the #1 (I believe...the 5.5" perfecto) off the shelf and it had too much bite for me.
