Beware of Chilibean, aka Froglicker

Post by AlohaStyle »

I am posting this as the other thread does not have his current name in the title and I want to warn people that might not be reading the other thread.  Chilibean, aka Froglicker has scammed many people and has a current sale under the name Chilibean... stay away if you know what's good for you.  I hate scammers...

Here is the thread if you want to read up...

TTT.

Looks to be a little late though, if he actually sold the three boxes he has advertised.  Guess some folks just blindly go...

And....to make things even more interesting, 3 people (probably noobs) have left him good feedback now since his last onslaught of bad ones and some of those older ones are getting lower on the list. I can't believe anyone would buy from him with his history and the fact that there are several bad feedbacks AND he is on the scumbag list.  People just love losing their money to thiefs, I guess.  I can't wait for the whining to start when he goes bad again...

Yeah, three positive feedbacks after Knuck's warning in September.  The warning even has a link to scumbag list, which also has a CF link to the posts when everything went down.

I guess the consensus of the positive feedback is that "as long as I got my sticks, I don't mind do business with someone who has ripped people off in the past".

My personal choice is not have anything to do with people that are dealing with him. For the A-hole that doesn't know what all the issues are, well he still owes people money and did PP charge backs after receiving the cigars.

Yeah, I love this dummass comment by RNaka:

"Not sure what all the issues are but my purchase went well..

Thanks

Reed"

Dude. Read the issues. He is a thief and shouldn't be trusted. At a minimum you shouldn't be dealing with known thieves otherwise you are guilty by association. A couple more people to put on the no trade list.

It seems as though I owe the board an apology for a recent trader comment I  left for a trade with John.  I thought, apparently incorrectly, that  the purpose of trader comments was to comment about trades.  Obviously not.  In my defense, my transaction with John began before the whole brouhaha unfolded and I felt responsible to complete the transaction and leave accurate information on my trade. My mistake.

I also apologize for  misunderstanding the purpose of the "scumbag list".  I thought its purpose was to advise others of persons with prior bad acts, perceived or real, as cautionary for future dealings, not a proscription against any further contact.  Now I realize that they must be shunned.  I can only say that I've been properly chastised and hope to error no more.

I also agree that it would be probably a good idea to extend the list to secondary and tertiary and maybe even quaternary scumbags for those who trade with scumbags or trade with those who trade with those who trade with scumbags.  It would better help us neophytes know with whom we may associate.

Finally, I'd like to thank those of you man the Battle Zone daily fighting tirelessly to police the boards ferreting out the scumbags, gougers and profiteers. My deepest gratitude for your oversight is best expressed by a quote by George Orwell:

"Men sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."

Thank you internet warriors, thank you.
