The person posing as the master is the most obsessive compulsive paranoid schizoid I have ever experienced.
This guy is afraid of his mother and would challenge his daughters to identify themselves.

He is wracked with heat from his retirement home in florida and doesn;t do anything all day long except collect food stamps and smoke cheap cigars.

He responds to the name of harris call him with some scraps of food or perhaps scraps of curley heads.      :bounce: :bounce: :boty: :boty: :boty: :nana: :nana:

Lets not get too wound up here. The Master is a good guy, and reminding people to be careful when trading with "new" people is fine.  In CF's history there have been any number of cons and scumbags that have shown up and scammed people out of cigars and money.  He's registered here, and he's a friend of mine.

While the wording may be blunt, the warning is appropriate anytime you are trading with someone you don't know.  We are all new here, this is a perfect opportunity for someone to drop in, offer to either buy or sell and take advantage of the enthusiasm that folks have for this sites return.

The first trade I ever did was off of this site back when DannyM ran it.  I was new, the other guy had an established trading history over at CF and I had to send my end first.  This was in '99 and I was new to the internet trading world.  I wasn't used to having my intregity questioned, but after I thought about it I realized that it was actually common sense.

So, don't read too much into that post, as I said, I count the man as a friend, the comment is not directed at this site or anyone here in particular, and take the comment as a reminder to use common sense when trading on the internet.

Respect for the FOGS Boys! :cop:

For any one that has been around CF for any time. They know that The Master is a Crusty Old Sea Dog that is well respected on CF for a reason. He hasn't been posting on CF for a little while. Been out on hiatus,  so some of you Noob's might not know him that well.
It is well advised to listen to what he has to say. He has saved many folks ass  with is wisdom and comments in dealing with  bad traders, scumbags and the like. He can read through the BS faster then any one I know on CF.

Scary thing about Harris is that he has called out some of these scumbags months before the truth about them came out. Like Wade said also, when you trade with someone you don't know, it never hurts to be cautious.
