True, I didn't check the feet before shipping, never had to before.

Sorry but I don't believe you didn't notice the mold on the feet of the cigars. With the amount of mold on there, it's virtually impossible to bag and ship those cigars without noticing it. And I don't believe you're that stupid as to think it's plume.

This statement alone makes you a poor seller/trader, the fact that you are not checking over cigars you are selling to people let alone BHK's...that terrible blemish alone on the BHK would make any collector look over the entire stick, and if it didn't you, I would suggest you find another hobby because you are wasting your money and pissing people off...Oh and were they all blemished like that? Why wouldn't you pick one without a blemish like that?

So, what is going to be done here to protect others in this community from this same situation occurring again with this same seller. I do think its fair for you to leave a bad trader comment in this case. Even though you were able to get a full refund, you got some horrible looking sticks (that might even be of questionable provenance) that had mold in the feet. If I were the buyer here, I wouldn't think twice about leaving a bad TC. I still don't see how anyone who packed those sticks could have overlooked the mold growing in the feet... :cop:

I don't think anyone should be reluctant to leave negative trader feedback. If you had a negative experience, by all means express that.

Setting that aside and honestly and fairly representing all aspects of the transaction in question is the most helpful thing one can do for our community. Again, just MHO.

Maybe I need to reword my post so that it says leave an "honest trader comment". I agreee with Bill, and if left with a bad situation like this, its hard not to let your emotions affect what you say in the TC. However, it sounds like the buyer here is just happy to get his money back, and in alot of cases just like this, no feedback is left at all. Not leaving any comment about a bad trade or sale does nothing to protect the others in this community from similar situations.

I took the BHK's out the box and put them in the same bag as the PSD's since they all fit tightly and wouldn't get shuffled or beat up in transit.
True, I didn't check the feet before shipping, never had to before.
As for authenticity, I purchased them from PE last June which is a reputable source for many people here.
I also offered to take pictures of the boxes they came out of when you questioned their age.
Not sure where you're claiming I'm slow. You sent me the first MO which arrived on Aug 10 & was short. You sent a 2nd MO including shipping for the BHK's which I got in the mail on Aug 15. I shipped out the entire pack at 9am Aug 16.
You sent me a PM with the pictures last night at 9:53. I was at a baseball game and still responded to you by midnight and had a refund to you after we worked it out at 1:27am.
As for the last text, it was just a request. Didn't have any time requirement on it which is how you seemed to take it.

On another board I mentioned that PE does buy some stock in the grey market...and I nearly got roasted.
The fact is...they may not know it's a bad cigar as:
1) They sometimes do not handle the stock
2) They buy some items grey market - and don't handle the stock.
Not calling anyone out...just stating facts.

Couldn't agree more. And I didn't mean to inply that you were off base. I just know from experience that it is often difficult to leave the emotions out of the TC so often guys just leave nothing at all. Or else they leave a comment completely bashing their trade partner. I guess I was just pointing out that this latter is as unhelpful as the former as at best it doesn't tell the reader what went on, while at worst it becomes a pissing match. Only honestly detailing what transpired allows readers to make an educated decision as to whether to move forward with a transaction or not.
