While only roughly 30,000 Knuckleheads werer ever produced, about 1/2 were '47's making them the most easily obtained.  1947 also saw a complete redesign of the bike with new dash, tail light, tank badges, paint schemes, etc.  My dream was to own a '41, first year 74" motor and 2nd year for the big port heads.  I settled for the '42 because, well, a nice set of papered cases became available and it is actually a little more scarce than '41's being a war year.  The XA fromt end on mine ois perhaps the scarcest part with only 1000 ever made.  The '38 & '39 only cam cover is a close second in terms of rarity.

Looks great Knuck! Z-bars, springer, and I love a smooth cam cover! I just think they look ultra cool...nicely done...BTW you have great taste in trucks as well.  :clap:
