I understand what you are saying but, truth be told I don't believe there is any way to stop a crooked trader...  Most BBs as far as I can tell, have a noob trade of some sort... That could actually do a lot more damage if you think about it...  Guy gets in good with a Vet, and then plays the whole board, if not multiple boards at the same time...

Absolutely, you are all my sons and daughters!  But I'm not gonna give you any advice or guidance, or write anything down that you can do research "on your own" to learn from.

You're just gonna have to have some common sense, with no data or input at all to base your decisions on.  Because really, what else do you need?
