Trust

Post by mcgoospot »

Harris' point as to newbie etiquette notwithstanding, this hobby of ours needs to be based on trust.  I have had over 1,000 sales, buys and trades on numerous boards (here, CW, ICC, private boards) and have never been stiffed on a transaction.  I rarely if ever require the newbie to send first.  I trust the people I deal with. If they stiff me they will have he'll to pay but that doesn't worry me.  It's a hobby.  It is fun.  I enjoy the boards. I love to buy, trade and sell what I don't smoke. If it looks too good to be true it probably is (TL fiasco).  Just my $.02. If you are a newbie volunteer to send first.  It may or may not occur but the effort is what counts.
