I just saw his sale. Why no date codes on the RYJ's?
Is he willing to ship his end first because he is a newbie?
Has anyone done business with him before?
Did anyone buy this stuff from him?

Re: Who is Fritz
If this Fritz is Michael DiGiacomo from CF then he has an excellent trading history. He stopped trading in 2007 so maybe he got out of cigars and is selling off the last of his stash. If it is Mike then I would feel confident trading with him. If it is not the same guy then I would make him send his end first and then you had better know how to tell a real Cuban from a fake. Although it is rare to see fake Culebras and fake Cazadores.

Sounds plausible given the similarities in sales threads. Is it just me, or does there seem to be a lot of old-timers coming out of the woodwork lately? Oh, what the hell would I know, maybe it always happens that way.

Re: Who is Fritz
This is not a battle, trouble making question but one about culebras, and I figure here is as good a place to ask as any, since a botl is selling some in foil and another is selling in wooden boxes.
If a boxed set of 9 go for $85, and foiled set of 24+1 go for $125, also presumption on my part, my question is still the same. Do you guys smoke these things or gift them to each other?

Great coffee, cigars and whiskey. Love them all.

Re: Who is Fritz
Ok, so I got that info. Machine made in 2000, foil wrapped - so aged 11 years vs new hand made... any advantage to that time pass? meaning, added $$?
And, would the 2000 be considered OR? - Wait maybe not;
According Cuban cigar website
Cigars: Handmade.
Bands: Special large "Culebras" band.
Packaging: B3/b1. B25/8x3+1.
Status: A pre-1960 release. Status uncertain. Believed to be discontinued in 2011.
History: Until c2005 Culebras was machine-made. Handmade version released 2007.

And
1) do you think the aging of a machine made cigar is any different than the value of a handmade one
2) did you look like a goofball smoking one of these
