The issue here is not so much cost, and pardon me for speaking up here, but I have now learned something.

The issue here is now provenance. If you have dropped a name like Monte Reserva, and a $575 price tag, at least add the appropriate information to give the sale some guts.

Next up.......beaver.  This is just for you and a one time deal, because you are such a know it all moron.

Here are some facts for you.

I am selling these a fair amount below market value.  Reason?  Because my wife and I just had a baby boy, and are leaving for vacation next week, and wanted a little cash for the trip, hense I priced them at a low price to move them.  Matter of fact when these were new, they were priced around $500.

Next:  I own 5 boxes of these.  They were HAND SELECTED for me by a friend in Germany at the LCDH Berlin.  They are in perfect condition, and have been stored in my humidors for the last 2 years.

Finally if you have questions, then pm me, but stop making yourself look like a fool, and a newbie.

One last thing.  I want to say that I received an apology from Family Guy, and I accept that, and appreciate it.  Thank you for manning up, and next time, if anyone has questions, post them, or pm them to me.

Sellers add as much information as necessary to move their products.  Clearly because you do not know the seller, you do not feel comfortable purchasing because you do not have enough information.  I'm sure that if Matt had any problem selling his cigars, he would add pictures, and additional info in order to get people to buy.  I don't know why you insist on impugning the reputations of respected individuals in the cigar community, but you seem to find pleasure in it.  People would take you more seriously if you stopped making blind accusations, and started by getting to know some people.  I'm sure my advice will fall on deaf ears, but I'm trying to help you out.

It is difficult to interpret your tone and intentions at time, and that's probably just a failure of internet message boards as a communication medium, but grammar and proper formatting makes people more likely to take you seriously.  I'm not the grammar police, but I can see that in many of your posts you seem to randomly capitalize letters and omit spaces.  Simple things like that make it hard for people to read your intentions.

Just so you know, by calling Matt out on this and other previous sales, without evidence I might add, you are letting your ignorance show.  I understand adding a fancy band would not make these cigars worth it to you, but you're more than welcome to let these cigars pass by.  I'm sure many would say the same thing about many high end goods, but there is a market for them otherwise they would not be produced.  Can you provide any concrete evidence as to how you know he is selling fake cigars beyond the fact that you "just don't trust him" and he hasn't posted any additional info?  Also, the more you defend indefensible positions, the less likely you make it that people are going to listen to you in the future.  I'm going to assume you only have the best of intentions and as such are trying to protect the community from another potential bad seller, but if you are not careful in who you accuse, you will quickly become the "boy who cried wolf."  It appears for some of the other members here you already have.

That's the problem. He can't post questions so he came here.

There are a lot of new faces at this dance, along with a bunch of thugs.

Folks have to work out who's who still.

And before folks go crying foul about reputation...take a look at some other threads in this area of the forum.

Yes....a 'question' rather than comment would have been more appropriate.

Candianbeaver and I talked, and I want to say sorry to her.  I thought she was ganging up on me with familyguy, but it has been made clear that was not the case at all.  CB and I have no issues, and I shouldn't have posted to her as I did.

Now lets all go light up a good cigar and relax!

I Third that!

And if you are going to talk dirty to me/ about me, honey you are going to have do better than this:

Clampdown: CB you are the dumbest fucking member of any cigar board out there.  You really should just shut up and let those who know what the fuck is going on speak.  For example, if someone is selling something why offer them some shitty coffee.

About as classy as a plugged toilet in a trailer park

Cheers.

A pretty famous auction since has them est. to go between 600-800 GBP in their upcoming July 4th auction.  They also have a box listed for regular sale at 600 GBP.  Not sure what's up with that, but figure the "retail" price is 600 GBP.  I can't find them for sale anywhere else.

I think the whole thing with TripleLigero about a month ago, still has people on edge.  His reputation was flawless, and alot of big names and long time posters here were backing him.  So, that event has scarred some people here...
