I did a deal with smokinfine with no issue whatsoever.  I got my sticks in a couple of days.  Sorry to hear so many got f'd.

I experienced the same thing as everyone else.  He asked me to use a buddy's PP account.  Gave me some excuse as to why.

I wish I had more info, but all I have is the same info everyone else posted.

Not that I know of, at least not by me yet. I was hoping to get a response from rich before I notified him but it doesn't look like any of us are going to.

I used to deal with him on CP when he was clean and sober, till he self-banned himself by having a meltdown. When I found him here, I did one deal with him for a Viaje 5'ver when I first joined. Soon after he ripped off a couple of good guys, I think for Opus boxes, and went on the Scumbag list.

Can I ask who his sellers "handle" was (Pembroke or Smokinfine) when he did these last sales, I'm confused where the thread is?

Frickin' dick, can't even move his drugs and turn a profit like a good drug dealer, has to rely on thieving on good people in our hobby. Sometimes the streets take care of themselves, know what I mean?

The problem is 'smokeinfine' was having people send money to Don's PP account.

Either SF is Don...or he's a schill for his product...and now apparently a student of Don's scam!

What Don has done is CRIMINAL.

If he said, in a PM, that he would take a 'gifted' pp payment and then scammed someone, that's proof enough. PP 'gifted' is just a phrase for PP....it has nothing to do with the law in the manner I just mentioned!

When I had my 2 deals in the 1st and 2nd weeks of May with "Rich", who claimed to be the guy I was dealing with... I was unaware of any previous scamming or bad deals that went down with Don Clark (the supposed PP account used for these transactions and apparently the guy on the scumbag list).

The funny thing about the 2 5'ers I bought, they were shipped immediately, and were very well packed.  In fact, Rich even put a mini humipak in both 5'ers.  Not too many people go to those extremes when selling 30-40 buck 5'ers.  1 of these deals was for some Tatauje Especiales and the other was for a 5'er of some CCs.  Both 5ers arrived within 2 days, packed perfectly including the humipak, and both were sent via Priority mail box, which I got a DC# for the same day I bought and paid.  Its difficult for me to not leave a good trader comment for someone who went to those extremes and provided a high end product so quickly and perfectly packaged. 

I still feel that the TCs I left were earned and well-deserved.  I don't know what happened to this same guy after May 10th...

It's all part of the scam. Start small build up a good feedback and then BAM! Take a far bigger score. AS my friend Vinny would say: " There is a father and son bull sitting on a ridge watching the cows. The son wants to run down and do one. The father replies, why run, when you can walk down and do them all."

Remember Don had a pretty ok trading record on other boards for years before going south.  Easy to speculate as to why some trades went off fine and some ended up with robbery, but ultimately irrelevant.
