Triple Ligero's "Montescristo GR" cigars examined

The real ones look great, smooth as silk.
Would be nice if they smoked as good as they look.

The TL GR looks like a regular Monte #2 with the GR band.  I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case.

[quote]uh... only if the regular Monte #2s you have are fake.  imo[/quote]Yes, clearly the Monte on the far right is something other then a Cuban Monte #2 let alone a GR.  Probably a Don Bologna!  The one second from the right looks much better and may be a legit Monte #2 with GR band though that wrapper is still quite rough looking so the proof of that pudding would be in the tasting.

I really, really doubt either of them are genuine.  They both smell identical... like farm cigars.

Andrew, I will put in some work on the TL/Limor comparison once I get all the samples in.  I doubt I can do as impressive a job as you but well... whatever  :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana:
