some of the guys that I have herfed with have lighters that you could cook with, I shit you not(is there an acronym for that?), The Chef is one of those guys, he uses a creme brule torch for his cigars, it is friggin awesome!

I don't look for it but enjoys it when I stumbled onto it.  Last one I saw he had to do a 4-5 course dinner with multiple choices per course on a moving Dinner train.  It's interesting.

That's the only one I've seen.  He did well considering that the conductor/boss man was in face a lot.  I'd watch it again.

Best one I have seen I think was this past weekend where he cooked for 850 (I think) marines.  Evidently he spent 10 years in the Royal Navy so he had a lot of empathy for our troops.  Good show!  :bangin:

I enjoyed watching this one also ( or so the wife told me).

He had to make a meal based on the food already provided to the marines, much of which was dehydrated. He was allowed to make purchases from the local commisary (?). He also had his own personal gunny who came in to get in his face every so often.

One of the things that I noticed tho was that as he is trying to cook the meal, much of the cooking equipment was out of service, or barely working. What a sad state of affairs.

Despite the setbacks, a meal that looked unreal was presented.  Great show.
