Re: Jerry Falwell dead.
I prefer words to stupid little whatever they are's.
Not happy about his death, why would anyone be, unless you are so uncomfortable with your ability to defend your arguements against his that his silence makes you happy and makes you think you win the arguement. A common theme amongst the left. Those who disagree must be shouted down or silenced in some way.
He was an imperfect man who'se power with a microphone made those who heard him think a little and look in the mirror a bit. Agree with him or not, his provacativeness was a positive IMO
RIP

Re: Jerry Falwell dead.
I cannot say that I am happy he has passed, but I am not sad either. I believe this man was a spreader of hate and fear. He created the moral majority so a bunch of hypocritical people could try to force their will onto everyone else. He did not believe in the seperation of church and state. I compare him to the mullahs in Iraq except he did not send out suicide bombers. Flyfish as you can see I am not shouting, also I am far from the left on most matters.
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, cigar in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used
up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
