Please don't give the "Cigar-Mafia" a bad name.

Doesn't add up for me.  Maybe for others it will.

People may get pissed at me for posting this but I have to call it when I see it....

No matter what TL has done, it is simply uncool to request a refund when you did not buy cigars from him.

Some might say: "But he ripped people off so why shouldn't I rip him off?"

The reason is simple: So far he has done the right thing in regards to what has happened, which is to issue refunds. By people jumping in and saying that they bought things from him when they did not could result in numerous things such as him stoping the issuance of refunds.

-----------

TL- As you know, we discussed things this weekend via PM and I told you that even though I have not had any of your cigars I supported you in light of a few well respected friends who tried your cigars told me. That being said, you really should answer the questions Moki has asked. You are talking as if you are right and everyone else has ganged up on you falsely. It is very hard to believe that when you ignore these questions.

I just did got the barcode to verify. I will admit it when I am wrong. These do appear to be the real deal. You have my apology for that.

Are you referring to the Behike's at

Having just seen those pictures on another thread, my real question is, "Is the barcode from the "sealed" box or is it from the "opened" box?" Both types of boxes weren't offered for sale in that thread, but the pictures of both being there does confuse me.

Now that is a whole different question that I can't answer. The barcode does verify as a box of Behike 52.

Here's an idea, why not take a (hi-res) photo of yourself with your pile of cigars (and hold a couple in your hands while you're at it) so we can see the person and the product together.

hardly, they'd both be scumbags.  and really?  you're going to believe someone is asking for refunds who didn't buy just because he says it?  really?  Cant say I'd believe much of anything from TL.  Ninja is one of the most knowledgeable and connected when it comes to islands.  I'd love to see him take a few back to habanos S.A. when he goes back to the island.

Triple Ligero, I wish you would address some of the issues raised in this thread, such as:

1) Are you Richard "Rowby" Goren, the former comedy writer who declared bankruptcy in 1999, as is evidenced by your [email protected] email/PP address?  If not, how do you have access to that email account?

2) What is your association with Rama Morovati aka "CigarAsh", known purveyor of fake cigars, owner of Cigar-A-Rama, whose cigar shop address is on the http://www.rowbygoren.com/ web site registration?

3) What are your comments regarding the authenticity of the cigars, having heard from MO, who attended the Partagas XV dinner (and indeed was honored at it)?

4) You stated that you'd never posted on any other cigar boards before.  How do you explain the posts on CF from [email protected] (selling the same cigars you're selling now) here and here?

5) Why did you state "Hello Insight, a younger fellow, who runs my errands, heard about the site from another gentleman at a friendly cigar smoking poker game." when in fact you posted earlier here that "Hello, my name  is Richard, and I recently found out about Wade through a friend on CF."?
Once again, the cigars you have gotten from me are 1000% authentic, and were purchased directly from the factories, and various Havana stores.
How can you possibly know any of this, if you have never been to Cuba, and are not the one actually making these purchases?

Why will you not talk to anyone on the phone, or meet anyone in person?

Triple Ligero,

With all due respect every post you have made on this issue provides no information on the many issues presented and further cements my view of you as a scam artist and con man.  If that hurts your feelings and pride because that is not who you are then tough, it is the direct result of your actions.

I do not view your refunds as the right thing to do as you have gone too far.  I view your refunds and accussations as furthering the con.

I see your willingness to send cigars to experts now, when previously you were not, as the result of a con man caught in the act that knows now he must send out the real thing to himself back into the community.

All of your actions so closely follow a con man at his best that the ONLY way you will change my viewpoint is to meet with people from this site and elsewhere.  Many of us have offered to herf with you over and over, myself especially without response.

No amount of blathering posts on the internet will change my opinion.  Meet with some people in person and explain yourself or leave this community.
