Like I said, I gave him the benefit of not leaving bad feedback because he said he was out of town for the holidays which is quite likely. Lots of people are out of town for extended periods in December. Nobody's perfect and even though I was less than impressed with the timeliness and communication, I did eventually get my cigars. You'll note that I didn't leave positive feedback either.
In my opinion, I let it go because he's been 100% on Asylum and the remaining transactions up to that point here. I felt that leaving negative comments at that point given the circumstances of being out of town for a while wasn't necessarily the right thing to do. Had this been going on at the same time, it's an entirely different situation.

Yea, again, excellent point, leaving no comment at all is an excellent way of protecting others.
Had this been going on and the players involved chose to remain silent about it as you did, no one would have been the wiser. Scumbags, bad traders, and various other forms of asshole rely on this very thing.

As you said, 'I didn't post positive feedback, either.' To a lot of people, doing nothing is worse than making a mistake.
After reading your other posts here on the BZ, its pretty clear why you didn't 'rock the boat' by posting negative feedback, forgop. As long as you've got yours, you really don't give a crap about anyone else.

I'm glad you were able to make such accurate inferences about me from the cues you found here.

Per XTR:
"Please no joking around in here. Keep this thread facts and information.
Don't be too quick to pull the trigger in here. Try to work out disagreements before you bring them here and they become a soap opera, which they almost always do when someone goes public with a problem. That's not meant as a slight to those who out bad traders, just an observation of how things have worked over the last eight years or so that I've been on cigar websites.."
Now, this is in no defense of JJ. He has acted like a total D-Bag to pete. Prior to this he had over 20 positve reviews. He did make good on the sale. It's a hard to make. It's not fair to throw Gop under the bus because of what has happened now. I suggest the monday morning QB's take a step back and direct their anger to JJflynn.

That quote came from the general discussion forum about bad traders. Right now you clicked on Battle Zone and the rules are a bit different. I might not like everything I see going on here, but it is what it is. Also there is a description of what happens in here right under the link.

If you're going to get controversial bring it here. If you want to have a private name calling match, bring it here, if you want to write about things that piss people off, then do it here.
Everyone should understand that what is posted in here may in fact offend you, so if you don't want to be offended, don't read posts in this room. We all clicked the little box that said we were over 18, so use some judgement.

Re: jjflynn3
Since this was the thread I first mentioned my deal with John, I would like to state my sticks and some hitchhikers finally arrived today. John did stay civil with me throughout my repeated requests for a DC number and previous inquiries as to when he was going to ship my buy. This deal took 24 days from start to finish and I'm questioning myself if this thread hadn't opened up, would I still be waiting and getting antsier by the minute?
I would hope that in the future he makes time to stay on top of things when doing business, otherwise please don't be selling.
I have left what I feel are appropriate comments in his profile.
