Recipes, what do you guys dip them in.
I haven't tried them yet, but I found some recipes on the net, and I am going to make them this weekend. I hear good things about these. :D
btw I am also gonna try fried cucumbers as well for grins. ;D

these are good.
I have tried a mix with cajun seasoning, corn meal, salt, peper, red peper and milk. its good on pickels, zuchini, and onion rings.

Thanks man! That sounds kinda like the recipes that I found, but none of them said anythng about dippin sauce, do you eat yours like that? or is ranch involved? I saw them at hooters and I had already ordered, so I didn't add them, but I thought I saw sauces of some kind served with them.

i generally eat mine plain, the wife likes ranch and blue cheese with hers. friend of mine likes catchup. also have seen 1000 island, french, and BBQ sauce with them.

also try the fried pepers, I forget the name of the peper but its the kind that is put in Papa John's pizza boxes. They are good fried.

Just remember after a quick marinade, DRY, WET, DRy,.....Example quick soak or marinade in milk/buttermilk.. Drain. Then DRY/Flour, WET/Egg, then DRY/BREAD CRUMBS... Season as you wish

I first tried Fried Dill Pickles at teh Cock o' the Walk, Natchez, MS. They used hamburger chips which were coated in a crunchy cover. Attempts to match have included various beer batters, but I found adding a little corn meal seems to help.
Dill's in Traverse City, Michigan uses a dill pickle spear. Although still good, I like the chip style better.
And yes, I like to dredge them through a sauce of some kind.
