I've thought this over, and I agree that 30 days on a first offense is a bit strong, but only because I know there are a lot of people who don't read the rules on websites and just jump right in.  For them a week is a good smack on the wrist and don't do it again.

Second time, that's a problem, those people are getting too caught up in it, and I doubt that a 30 day second suspension will make it better, they'll be back for the 3rd time too. So, the second offense is going to stay a permanent suspension.  It's not that hard, just don't post, back away from the keyboard and have a cup of coffee or a cigar and a rum.  If you are still so outraged that you must post something then bring it here.

From the short time I've been here, it seems you have something to say on every comment on this board. Your quick to the mouth, which means you probably don't think before you speak. Which is why I have the feeling this is what got you in trouble the last time. Wouldn't one think after learning their lesson the last time to tone it down? Maybe not say anything at all if you have nothing nice to say? Maybe this doesn't apply to you.

I highly suggest you re-read your post

This shouldn't be that difficult.  If you see something overpriced, post in the Battle Zone, to let people that may not know something is overpriced.

WHENEVER I see something overpriced, I always post in here to alert our brothers (and sister).  If you really want to try a certain stick, but don't know what they go for.....you could easily overpay.  Wouldn't want that to happen to me, therefore I try and make it so it doesn't happen to you.

We can all rest easily at night to know there will be someone there to price police and keep everyone abreast of high prices.  Sorry, but you really don't know what someone paid for said cigars.  Everyone here is an adult, so I think it's their own fault if they don't do their homework or determine for themselves what they're worth.

Why is it that you can't post negative comments in a TSBC post, but you can post positive comments? Shouldn't all comments be prohibited?

The rules of the site owner, we are not forced to be here.

7. DO NOT POST NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLES POSTS! I'm not kidding, this portion of the site is not a discussion forum. If someone wants to post the unreleased "sooper-dooper-one of a kind rolled on Selma Hayek's thigh" that you gave him because he told you he loved you do not complain about it here. It destroys the flow of the board and makes people search through crap to find things that they want. Take it to the Battle ZoneI want to be crystal clear on this, posting negative comments on peoples threads in the TSBC will get you suspended.

First offense is a week off, that is for those who didn't read the rules.

Second offense is permanent suspension from this site.

With all due respect, I agree with BrianH. No comments in the trading room but the seller's own might be a good look. PM the seller with questions with the understanding that a seller worth his/her salt will respond publicly with more info/photos/codes/etc if there appears to be a deficiency with the original sales post.

I am more tired of the shilling 'positive' comments than anything. Joe Blow Tattyguy is a great BOTL!  Great (sarcasm). The trading room is not the place to vouch for people. Do that corny crap in the trader comments forum.

Just some thoughts.

I agree with the vouching, but the rules are in place.

I hear you.  Just trying to take it a bit further to get around the need for bans.  OBVIOUSLY this is Wade's site and therefore his call on the best system.
