New Camacho
Was sitting down at the local yesterday and the manager gifted me a new, Camacho, all Maduro cigar. Filler, binder, and wrapper were all Maduro.
Spot-on construction, effortless draw, even burn producing typical maduro ash. Tasted leathery and sweet and was not at all a bad smoke. There was something of a slight to mild acridity to the after taste that lasted for about the first third of the cigar.
Manager asked me if the cigar was worth stocking. I said that for $5 or $6 it probably was as it would make a nice occasional cigar. Something to keep a box of on hand of the 'something different' days. Problem was, they were $14, and that was for the robusto.
Oh well.
Anyone else try these yet?

Re: New Camacho
Could never bring myself to spend that much on a camacho. Well maybe if it had a dusting of preembargo tobacco. ;D

Re: New Camacho
Yea, I've never really spent much of anything on a Camacho, but this was a gimmie from the guy at the B&M, probably because he wanted a little feedback before placing a big dollar order, (which I do not think will be placed now LOL).
I couldn't open the above link tip :tears:

Link requires a .pdf viewer (Adobe, etc.). It's just Camacho's marketing...

We are happy to introduce the first ever Triple Maduro [sup]TM[/sup] cigar. This ALL Maduro [sup]TM[/sup] is the result of almost a full years work blending five different maduro varieties. The biggest challenge was to get thse thick leaves to burn and taste right together. We did it, and the cigar is awesome! Just wait until you try it.
As of yet, we are not disclosing the blend in order to protect the integrity of the brand.
We estimate the initial production run to be just under 300,000 cigars, most which will be committed before the cigars ship (within the next 60 days). We recommend you get your orders in ASAP. Take our word for it, YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!

That's right, Camacho has put a trademark on "Triple Maduro" and "ALL Maduro". Sounds like they spent more time on marketing and lawyering than blending and tasting. :)
