Opus X Shark Maduro

By the picture this doesn't look maduro. Does any know if there is a maduro opus shark. I really enjoy maduro Opus, and this place is high but I would drop the coin for 1.

I have one from a BOTL...it is a REALLY dark wrapper (even compared to an anejo) and does not smell like an anejo...

I will take some comparison pics and post them...

I know exactly the wrapper you are talking about.  It is definitely very different from the old school opus maduro wrapper, can't place it exactly.

Phil are these the wrappers that are on the "new" Opus maduro robustos with the '04 bands?

I haven't had a chance to see one of the 04 band robos in person yet but I have seen a handfull of others that were acquired more recently with an extremely dark wrapper.  They are obviously different from original opus maddie wrapper but I dunno if they are the same wrapper as used on the BBMFM/Scorpio M etc. or something entirely different.  I smoked a couple and have had mixed results.

Yes, that is the same...Wish I had one of those to compare it to...VERY dark maduro wrapper, the OR Opus Maduros were not as dark...

Fuente is said to be coming out with some new releases of rare sticks, I would not be surprised if this was one of them...

Incidentally, not to hijack but if anyone has one of the 2004 band robos they can let go of I would love to get one to do a side by side of the various versions.
