Mechanical Engineers

Post by niterider56 »

Bubba and Ray (Texas A&M Mechanical Engineers) are standing at the base of a flag pole, looking up.
A woman walked by and asked what they were doing.
"We're supposed to find the height of this flagpole", said Bubba, "but we don't have a ladder."
The woman took a wrench from her purse, loosend a few bolts and laid the pole down. She took a tape measure from her pocket, took a measurement, anounced, "Eighteen feet, six inches." , and walked away.
Ray shook his head and laughed, "Ain't that just like a woman? We ask for the height and she gives us the length!"
Bubba and Ray are currently doing government work supervising the reconstruction of the New Orleans levees.
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, cigar in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used
up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

And it should be Geotechnical Engineers working for the government that supervise the building of the levees. What are you trying to do take away my job????
