Bloom or Mold?

As stated in the title, a place to discuss cigars and things related to them.

Ditto that!!
I'm allergic to mold. Inhaling mold spores is [i]much[/i] worse.

Yes, if you are allergic, could be bad news.  You can use a bit of alcohol on the damp cloth, but I never tried it.  The couple I had I just used a damp cloth.

Again, all sorts of "natural" things inside a cigar....

ACTUALLY...  it's my cab of BBFs 2nd birthday today.  When I got them, 3 had a couple spots of mold, 1 had a decent sized patch.  I smoked the "patch" at 1 year, and there was nothing wrong with it, just still noticed some ammonia.  I think I will smoke one of the "spotted" ones this weekend!
