Future price spike!?

Post by bungpipe »

I've been noticing that all the CC vendors that I look at no longer provide delivery guarantee to the US.

I'm wondering if this will increase the amount of fakes?

And or watch the legit CC sky rocket in price?

I don't know that it would increase the amount of fakes.  After all, fakes are just as illegal to have as the real thing, whether they were actually made in Cuba or not.  All they have to do is be packaged as though they're habanos.

If the U.S. base dwindles next to nothing because of the scans, I see Cuba cutting back on production a lot.  Otherwise, there will be far too much supply.

I figured it would be a matter of vendors not shipping to the states at all, or if they did, they would no longer guarantee them for replacement.

I disagree....the seizures didn't happen because they had nothing to do and just thought they'd see if they could buy cc's online, which triggered this.  This was a result of anything over 16oz being labeled now as cargo because of terrorists trying to send bombs to a synagogue.  The response is that EVERYTHING is now being scanned upon entry and that's what prompted them to be opened in the first place.

Once they came across all of the packages, I think the sheer volume made them look to see how easy it was to order them.

They have actually raised the prices for one main reason, and that is to discourage people at the current time to order anything, since they are not guaranteeing delivery.
