Never done this before, quick story someone on another board had some stuff for sale, Art ( x man) asked about it I gave him a list he claims he sent the guy with 100% positive feedback on two boards cash for $215

He then frantically PM'ed me to death one night saying he was ripped off, how it was all my fault and how poor he was. I sent him the original pm's saying this is all I know about this guy, Long story short he kept at it saying how he needed the money so I sent him a check for $200. Figuring we would work it out he a brother right NOT This was hours worth of whining!!!

Several pm's and day's later I started to think I was being played and told him so and put a stop payment on the check. He then asked to split the loss and since he had I thought been a friend I agreed, well the check slipped through and cleared and now he refuses to pay the half he agreed to.

So I am out $229.00 all because this guy claims he sent cash and convinced me to help him out even though it was all his fault.

I will never do business with this CROOK again,  even though I had bought maybe a couple grand of opus from him.

I now do not believe he ever intended to honor his word or if he even sent any cash to the other guy.

I have every single pm regarding this matter and have shared them with a couple people and both said I was nuts sending him any money it was his fault if it happened at all. He is a big seller of Opus and all Fuentes products and I will probably be bashed for this, but F**k it I will not be taken with out at least speaking my mind!

Well that sucks but I wouldn't have sent the guy (X man) any money. Everybody's got to do their own research and purchase knowing the risk that a crook may be on the other end. I may have done business with a person and it went well but that's as much as I can tell a person looking to do business with the same guy. It wouldn't be my fault AT ALL if the guy doesn't come through.

I shouldn't have either but I bought a lot of Opus from him and he was whining hard about how he was on disability and I probably made more in week than he in a month, Frankly I thought it would calm him down and he would come to his senses after he got over his anger. I am a softy, it was later when I sent copies of the pm's where I did not recommend they guy at all and he would just ignore these and keep going on about living with his Mom and Dad and getting almost no money.

It was a few day's later going through pm's to be sure I didn't say anything wrong I noticed a few of him bragging about spending a couple grand at a time on opus and being a big shot that I saw I was being played remember we did a bunch of deals so I really didn't think he would risk a bad name for such a small amount.

Does this have anything to do with the sales of parafumar?  There is currently discussion about adding a guy to the scumbag list for failing to deliver to xman and another guy... think the deal was done on puff.

Sorry that link went to a can't find error, I am assuming he is making up stories about me now. Let it be known I have every pm the originals following this whole mess and can prove every word I said.

Anyone ask him the same I did and got nothing but bullshit from him. Pretty much done with him but will answer any questions asked.

He may have been selling cigars for a long time but I have never had any complaints, Last year I donated about 10.000 of my own money and cigars to the troops so I have tens of thousands of people that trust me and if the prick would not have outright lied several times at the end I probably would have let this go, and just not dealt with him, but now that I see the way his mind works it is my job as a BOTL to tell you!

Dave sent the Parafumar listing to me, he wouldnt tell me where i could find it
posted, something about he would be banned there if he told.
So he said parafumar is also on Puff.com. Where i am a member.
I sent parafumar 226.00 cash. When the trade went south i told Dave, he felt bad
cause i am on disability, so he sent me a check for 200.00, i said i wouldnt cash it
until insight got to the bottom of it. Dave didnt want to wait that long, he changed his mind, he said he was stopping the check. so i cashed it. If my cigars show up, or a refund, i will refund Dave. I am also a member at Cigarpass, but not on a daily basis, like puff, so why wouldnt he tell me where to look, if i had seen the guys on CP denouncing the trade i would have never done it, but i trusted Daves judgement.


Then i found the whole situation at Cigarpass.com where someone else was taken for 360.00
along with my 226.0. People asked at Cigarpass who put me onto the trade, but i wouldnt say.
I am not saying bad things about Dave[smelvis] anywhere.
