Re: Smoked my first..
I like the blue label the best. Have not tried the black label yet.
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving

sideways, cigar in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used
up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Re: Smoked my first..
I smoked this a while ago, but i just thought of it re-reading this thread. I smoked a Ashton Aged maduro with about 5 yars on it, and id was damn fine. I wish i could describe the tasting notes like others, but i just can't decipher that yet. But wow, this was awesome, for me, very smooth, like silk

Aged RyJ Churchill ('98) a few days ago.
Smooth, burnt like a champ. Plenty of smoke and layers of flavors. Nothing overpowering, a perfect afternoon cigar with a bit of coffee.
I'm looking forward to warmer weather and some RFO ('95 and '97) Double Coronas recently liberated from Canada. Paid through the nose, it will be tough to live up to expectations.

Also, IMHO, the RyJ Cedros deluxe #3 and 4 are incredible with at least 5 years on them

Yea, hopefully it was just a fluke, I'm gonna pick up a few more and try em again. Love the Blue Labels and have no problems with them. :)

I smoked my 1st Pepin black label today. It was not a great cigar but decent for the price. I am glad I got these on cbid and did not have to pay full price.
