I need some good Grass

Post by Land Rover »

Looking to upgrade my lawn, and make it more care free.  Saw in a few magazines an ad for Zoysia Farms plugs.  Does anyone have experience with these.  It saeem reall affordable and easy to plant.  I would like to know if it works before i spend the dough.

If I remember correctly, that type grass was highly recommened for the Houston Texas area. It was  supposedly good for high temp and dry conditions. I think it was also resitant to crab grass... but it's been almost 20 years since I heard the ads,

for more carefree just replace the grass with astroturf. it never has to be mowed.

I have some St. Augustine I would like to get rid of, cheap.

sideways, cigar in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used
up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Free! But you have to come dig it out of the front yard.
