Looking for pricing advice on some nice sticks

Post by tylernim »

First off, I want to say that I'm not sure this type of post is allowed.  If not please remove or alert me.

It's been a long time since I've traded, bought, or sold.  I built my stash to the point where I sat back and let things age and simply have enjoyed myself.  However, I have a very solid trading history on this site.

I have some sticks I'd like to move here, but because of the scarcity and age I am at a loss as to where the market price may be.  I have a very vague idea.  I was hoping some kind BOTL(s) could assist me.  Is this type of discussion ok to move forward with?

Thanks all.

Scroll the TBSC section to see if anything same or similar has been sold recently.  Bond Roberts is also a [s]depressing[/s] newish auction site where you can see, generally, the upper limit of what people are paying for Havanas (keep in mind a lot of buyers there are from East Asia, so hammer price gets stupid often).

Biggest thing is if you have no recent trading history, get ready to have people ask you to ship first.  It's been a while since a scam ran through here, but there have been several where an old member with good trading history shows up, rests on those laurels, and then ends up burning people, double-dealing boxes, fake tracking numbers, etc, etc, etc.

Best of luck!

Also, avoid VRATJV07.  He's a scammer

I tried scrolling the BST but not much there.

However I did not know that Bond Roberts existed.  Quite a resource for pricing and thank you for pointing out the nature of buyers over there.

Cheers.

You said you have a vague idea, then just post the list with your prices.

You can always make adjustments.

Obviously, it just depends on how quickly and efficiently you want to sell.  Priced "reasonably" they will probably sell.

Trading history matters, last one for you 2017, I'd plan on sending your end first.

I hope it goes well, hell, I might buy if priced right.

Just my $0.02

Pole Lock and JL Miller both frequent Holiday inn Express so they know what the hell they are talking about. Wow, Bond Roberts is some crazy action.

... and avoid VRATJV07. Is always sage advice.

Too bad you got kicked out of the Holiday Inn, Jimbo.  All the lounge ladies ask whatever happened to Long Jim and we tell them you're still out there downtown, driving all the old men crazy.
